LatestOpen yourdrive in Finder, Explorer and Files
- NewWebDAV: connect Finder, Windows Explorer, the Files app on iPhone and iPad, or rclone, and work with My Drive and folders shared with you like any other drive. Deleting moves files to Trash, and shared folder roles and storage limits apply. Included in every plan.
- NewApp passwords: each device signs in with its own password from Account settings, never your account password, and you can delete one to sign that device out. Changing your password deletes them all.
- NewFiles you have open in Office or Finder are locked, so someone else can't save over them at the same time.
- ImprovedHidden files desktops write next to yours (.DS_Store, ._ files, Thumbs.db, Office lock files) are kept out of your drive.
You choose who signs in
- NewSingle sign-on can be limited to the email domains you list, checked on every sign-in, so a public provider like Google only lets in your own people.
- NewAsk me first: someone new who signs in with single sign-on waits on the Users page until an admin approves or declines them. Admins get an email when email is set up. Included in every plan.
- SecuritySingle sign-on only creates accounts for email addresses the provider has verified.
Single sign-on and two-step sign-in
- NewSign in with your own OpenID Connect provider: Authentik, Authelia, Keycloak, Google, Microsoft and others. People are matched to their account by verified email, or get one on their first sign-in if you allow it. Included in every plan.
- NewTwo-step sign-in: after the password, a code from an authenticator app. Recovery codes cover a lost phone, and admins can turn it off for someone who lost both.
- SecuritySingle sign-on uses PKCE, a nonce and a verified ID token, and the session never appears in a URL. Each two-step code works only once.
A public demo
- NewTry yourdrive without installing it at demo.yourdriveapp.com: a sample drive with folders, documents, photos and a video. It resets every hour.
Clearer install questions
- ImprovedThe installer asks first how people will reach yourdrive: a domain with automatic HTTPS, a domain behind your own proxy, or the server's IP.
- ImprovedWith bundled storage, the installer prints its connection details as the last thing on screen, so they're not lost in the install output.
- Improved“Support (Discord)” in the sidebar opens the new, permanent invite to the yourdrive Discord.
HTTPS, bundled storage and one-click updates
- NewThe installer can set up HTTPS for your domain automatically (Traefik with a Let's Encrypt certificate), or leave the proxy to you.
- NewFiles can live on the server's own disk: choose bundled storage at install time and the setup wizard offers it with every field filled in.
- NewUpdate from the app: Settings has an Update now button that pulls the newest images and restarts the server. A separate updater container does the work; the app never touches the Docker socket.
- ImprovedImages now come from yourdriveapp/backend and yourdriveapp/frontend on Docker Hub. Existing installs keep working and update from their configured source.
- ImprovedAzure connection problems are named exactly, like a storage account that no longer exists, and the container is created for you if it's missing.
The label: a new look for yourdrive
- NewA whole new identity: the yellow label, a warm light theme as the default, a first-class dark theme, and new type (Onest and IBM Plex Mono, bundled as always).
- NewA theme control in the sidebar: light, dark, or follow the system.
- ImprovedThe name is now written yourdrive, one lowercase word, everywhere.

Easier storage setup
- ImprovedConnecting storage that needs an endpoint, like Cloudflare R2, shows the endpoint field straight away, and R2’s region is filled in for you.
- ImprovedTesting the connection says exactly what’s wrong, like a missing region, access denied or a bucket that doesn’t exist.
- FixedAn endpoint pasted without https://, or with the bucket name on the end, now works.

Bigger uploads and ZIP downloads

Account settings and email
